Tooth Fairy Pillow This is fun to make. I started out with a 12inch piece of fabric cut the full width of the fabric. That way when you finish your design, you can just fold the fabric and cut the front and the back together. Mark the center of the 12 inch width. Hoop it a few inches up from the bottom and make the design. Remove from hoop and now just sew a little pocket. Cut a 3inch strip from the other end and from that cut a piece 3x6. Fold in half , stitch close to the edge on both sides, leaving the end opened to turn. Turn, press and fold under the open end so your pocket measures about 2 1/4 by 2 1/4. Stitch to pillow under the coin. I made a clear template 9 1/2 inches so I could see through it. Place your template over the design and center the whole thing. Cut it out. Two pieces, front and back. Sew pillow , using 1/4 in seams. Leave about 4 inches open across the bottom to turn. Turn. Press. And what I did was to stitch the pillow again 1/4 inch around, except for the opening. Reason? Because I'm not very good at putting lace around a pillow. I just use a glue gun and glue it on after it's stuffed. So, just stuff your pillow and sew your opening closed. Glue on the lace and your done........................
