Edna made this
beautiful quilt as a gift to her husband for their 50th wedding
anniversary. The corner designs are from the Old
Fashioned Love in Redwork collection.
Edna says, "This is a picture of the
quilt I made with your designs, those other designs are Zundt's and the
top and bottom designs were freebies and I have no idea where they came
from. Those colors were chosen because in 1955 those were the
colors in our wedding."

Rebecca
Y. put the free Snowman Face on the front of a turtleneck for her
precious son Teagan. You can find the design on the Basket
Snow Folks collection page.
Rebecca says, "I was
going to put it on a bib but saw this plain turtleneck in his closet
one day and eureka! I knew it would look so cute with the
snowman face on it. I used a plastic bag as a topper
because I always do, not thinking that it was appliqué and realized
that it made a crinkle noise because of the bag underneath. BUT
this was much to the delight of my 6 mo old, so now I do that a
lot when I am making him a bib using appliqué. Who would have
thought? I'm already working
on a shirt for him for next winter with the same design and a diaper
cover for my niece to wear under a winter snowflake dress I am making
for her." Neat idea!
